BEST FOR HOT POT

Going to an Asian hot pot restaurant is a DIY experience at its most delicious. Normally, a group of diners order meats and vegetables from the menu, cook them in a big bowl of boiling broth in the centre of the table, dip the food in tongue-numbing savoury or sweet sauces and eat them. Shuang Shuang, however, adopts the Japanese practice of shabu shabu, which means each person has an individual small bowl of broth. Try the spicy Mala broth for a mind-blowing feeling, or the umami Black Bird broth, simmered with the nutritious 'black bone chickens’ native to China. All ingredients are presented on a conveyor belt on plates with different colour codes corresponding to different price tags – and counted up at the end of your meal.
